Occupational Therapy aims to enable children, adults and older people with physical, mental and/or learning difficulties to be as independent as possible

Keep Safe Scheme (Safe Place)

Our Safer Communities Team originally launched a 'safe place' scheme, with the Centre for Inclusive Living Perth and Kinross (CILPK), training local staff to help people with a disability who may have difficulties accessing assistance or advice whilst in the city centre.

British Sign Language (BSL)

Perth & Kinross Council has developed a plan showing how British Sign Language (BSL) can be promoted and supported.

The Keys to Life

In 2013, the Scottish Government and the Convention of Scottish Local Authorities (COSLA) developed the 'Keys to Life' strategy in order to tackle health inequalities faced by people with learning disabilities as well as other standards of living.
