Highland Railcard
Since the introduction of the current National Entitlement Card, the Council has funded the cost of Highland Railcards for those residents in the Rannoch area (PH17 postcode) that are eligible for, and have obtained, a National Entitlement Card for the Scotland-wide Free Bus Travel Concession Scheme. The Highland Railcard is valid for 12 months and provides the holder with 50% off the cost of rail travel on the whole West Highland Line (including trips to Glasgow, Fort William and Mallaig).
Perth and Kinross Council will no longer be issuing a yearly reminder to residents in the Rannoch area who are eligible to claim a refund for the purchase of their Highland Railcard.
If you live in the Rannoch PH17 Postcode area and are eligible for this offer, please email the Public Transport Unit at publictransport@pkc.gov.uk or telephone the Customer Service Centre on 01738 475000 for further information on how to receive your Highland Railcard refund.
