A Fairtrade school:
- uses Fairtrade products whenever possible
- learns about how global trade works and why Fairtrade is important
- takes action for Fairtrade in the school and the wider community
The Fairtrade initiative provides opportunities to enhance many areas of the curriculum and explore citizenship from a global perspective. Schools can display their Fairtrade certificate and logo when they have the completed the five goals of Fairtrade.
