First steps team

Information and advice leaflet (PDF, 620 KB) for expectant parents about The First Steps Team which undertakes assessment and provides support to expectant parents where there are concerns for the wellbeing and safety of their unborn child. The First Steps Team works with a range of complex issues with expectant and new parents once their babies are born.

Child and disability team

Child protection and duty team

Our Child Protection Duty Team leaflet (PDF, 477 KB) provides information about the duty team and how to contact us.  One of our main roles is to provide advice and guidance  to the public in relation to any concerns about the care of children.
