Gaelic Learners Education is available at secondary level within Perth Academy and Breadalbane Academy. Pupils from all four secondary schools within Perth City have the option to choose Gaelic at National 4 level from S5 as part of the Perth City Campus (PCC) initiative.
Gaelic is available in two schools throughout the Perth and Kinross Council area which offer both Gaelic language for learners and Gaelic for fluent speakers (those who may have attended Gaelic Medium Education or have Gaelic in the home).
Pupils who have attended Gaelic Medium Education are entitled to an automatic place at their nearest secondary school where Gaelic is taught.
As with Gaelic Medium Education in primary, pupils from outwith the catchment areas of these schools are not entitled to statutory transport provision solely for the purposes of receiving Gaelic education.
