Learning opportunities
Qualifications Scotland - Core Skills
Learn and gain qualifications in Core Skills for enhancing your employability and educational opportunities:
- Communication
- Numeracy
- Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
Employability Skills
Support with job search, interview techniques and signposting to other learning opportunities available locally.
Basic Digital Skills
Gain confidence in everyday digital skills, from computer, tablet and phone basics to online banking, shopping and safety.
Short Courses
We offer up to 10 hours study time in ASDAN Awards, with the option to work from home. Subjects include Animal Care, Gardening, History, Sports and Fitness, Employability, Volunteering and Expressive Arts.
English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)
All levels welcome: beginner, conversational and academic. Receive a certificate of attendance and get involved in personal development projects.
Reading, Writing and Numbers
Feel confident in:
- writing a message or birthday card, improving your spelling, reading a map, timetable, recipe or book.
- number skills for real life situations like budgeting, shopping and measuring
Where
Courses are delivered face-to-face and/or online, depending on your preference and availability.
When
Most classes run on a set day each week, but we're flexible - timing and frequency can be adjusted to suit your needs and schedule.
