Front-end loader hire

We offer front-end loader (FEL) containers for businesses that need a reliable, space-efficient waste solution.

These containers are ideal for sites generating higher volumes of waste and provide a single, convenient collection point. We provide FEL containers for paper and cardboard, mixed cans and plastic, and general waste.

How FEL containers work

FEL containers are static units placed on-site and emptied using our specialised vehicles, which lift the container over the cab to discharge the contents safely and efficiently. Each container holds 8 cubic yards (equivalent to approximately 5.5 x 1,100 litre bulk containers), helping reduce the need for multiple containers on larger sites. Containers are fitted with fork sockets, making them easy to move on-site using forklifts or manitous where required.

The service covers Perth through to Forfar in Angus (Tayside), with flexible collection options, including weekly scheduled collections and ad-hoc collections on request.

Pricing and delivery

Pricing is based on the waste type and collection frequency. We aim to deliver containers as soon as possible. Once the container is in place, your collection service will begin.

Important information on the use of FEL containers

To ensure safe and efficient collections, customers must ensure that:

  • containers must be placed on a solid, level surface such as tarmac or concrete
  • there must be no overhead obstructions such as wires or branches where the container is located
  • containers must be clear and accessible, with no items leaning against them
