We work closely with Community Resilience Groups across Perth and Kinross to support local communities prepare for and respond to emergencies.
These groups are formed by local volunteers who play a vital role in supporting their neighbours during challenging times, such as severe weather, flooding or other disruptions.
With support from our Community Support and Enforcement Team they plan how best to respond, whether that's opening a local rest centre or helping vulnerable residents with essential tasks like shopping or clearing paths during severe weather.
Working in partnership with communities, these groups help strengthen community ties and ensure that local support is available when it's needed most.
