Resident permit - Terms and Conditions

1. The permit scheme provides for the issue of a Resident's Permit only to persons who have their usual home address within the controlled parking zones in Perth or Crieff, are registered as liable for Council Tax, reside in the property and keep a motor vehicle registered in their name with DVLA Swansea.
2. The cost of a permit is currently:
   • £254 within Perth Inner Zone
   • £145 within Perth Outer Zone
   • £159 in Crieff
   • Permits must be paid for in full and cannot be paid in instalments.
3. Inner Zone Perth permits are valid within 100 metres of the street the applicant resides and in a marked pay & display bay on-street or in the closest off-street Perth & Kinross Council car park to your residence.  All Inner Zone permit holders can also use Canal Street Multi-Storey car park at any time.
4. Outer Zone Perth permits are valid within 100 metres of the street the applicant resides on and in a marked on-street pay & display bay.
5. Crieff permits are valid within 100 metres of the street the applicant resides on in a marked pay & display bay and within James Square car park.
6. Permits are not interchangeable within zones, even if the zone boundary is within 100 metres of where you are permitted to park.
7. Wherever the vehicle is parked, it must be parked within the limits of a marked pay & display bay and abide by the parking regulations at all times.
8. If a vehicle holding a permit is parked outwith the terms and conditions laid out in points 3, 4, 5 or 6 a pay & display ticket must be purchased.
9. Refunds can be requested on a cancelled permit, however a £20 administration fee will apply.

Failure to comply with the Terms and Conditions set out above may result in a permit being revoked, renewal applications declined and/or a Penalty Charge Notice may be issued.
