Each school day approximately 4,200 pupils are transported to and from schools in Perth and Kinross - over 1.6 million journeys a year. We use over 100 transport operators to provide the service, through both dedicated school transport contracts and the use of local service buses.
The bus and taxi/private hire car operators are subject to detailed Conditions of Contract which cover a wide range of requirements relating to the safe and legal operation of transport.
