Perth & Kinross Council is committed to raising basic awareness and the understanding of adult support and protection, and promoting adult safety, health and wellbeing.

If a member of your household is in hospital as a long-term patient or in a care home, you may be able to get a discount on your council tax bill.

If a member of your household has left school or college and is under 20 years of age, you may be eligible for a discount on your council tax.

If a property has been left unoccupied because someone has been detained in a prison, hospital or other place, it may be exempt from council tax charge.
