Removal of Permitted Development Rights by Conditions
If you are planning to extend or alter your home, or build within the garden, you should ensure that you have checked if you need to apply for planning permission before you start the works.
Vehicular access guide
A vehicular access consent is required by anyone who wants to construct an access to their property or development. This can take the form of a simple dropped kerb to form a driveway into a garden, to an entrance to a major housing development. This guide aims to explain the process of applying for Vehicular Access consent and the steps that are necessary to form it.
Completion Certificate Without Warrant
This procedure applies to work undertaken without a building warrant having been obtained (where one was required). It applies only to work undertaken after 1 May 2005. This is not a means of circumventing the technical standards as you will require to demonstrate the work meets the standards in force at the time of submitting the application - not when the work was carried out.
Amendment to warrant
An amendment to warrant is required when it is proposed to make changes to the design and/or specification for which building warrant was approved. Please note that a new application for warrant rather than an amendment is required if the proposal is to significantly change the development e.g. a new house type.
