Perth and Kinross boasts an exciting and diverse annual events calendar of approximately 1,000 local, national and international events.
Regular major events such as Blair Castle International Horse Trials, Etape Caledonia and the Johnnie Walker golf championships are complemented by a hugely entertaining programme of local events and cultural activity.
Boating on the River Tay - From June until the end of October 2017 there will be a variety of Boat Trips on the Tay available to book departing from Perth - Fergusson Gallery and Willowgate Activity Centre.
Southern Fried Festival - 27 to 30 July - Nick Lowe, Loudon Wainwright III, Beth Nielsen Chapman and Jim Lauderdale headline the 10th Southern Fried Festival of American roots music in Perth which also features Rock 'n' Roll, The Songs of Chuck Berry.

Mary Queen of Scots Festival - 2 September - The event will commemorate Mary's life as Kinross poignantly marks the 450 year relationship with the Castle on Loch Leven Island where she was held captive and where spent some of her most troubled years, and the end of her reign in 1567.
