Subject: Letters sent at the request of Council

Purpose

To keep Councillors informed of actions as a results of motions/requests, sharing copies of letters sent by the Council Leader at the request of Council and responses received.

• Request for an amendment to the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973 to permit an elected member on parental/family leave to nominate another elected member to cast a proxy vote on their behalf at meetings of the Council.
