Book banks for reuse

New book banks for books in reusable condition have been installed at 7 sites across Perth and Kinross

The new banks have been added to the facilities at Aberfeldy, Auchterarder, Blairgowrie, Crieff, Inveralmond, Kinross and Pitlochry Recycling Centres.

The initiative has been set up in partnership with Better World Books based in Fife. Better World Books collect donated books in saleable condition and re-sell them. For every book sold, they donate a book to a person in need as well as raising funds for literacy and libraries. For information on the organisations who have benefitted from book donations, visit the Better World Books website.
