Service Information
Services take place hourly: 9.30am, 10.30am, 11.30am, 12.30pm (1.00pm to 1.30pm lunch), 2.00pm, 3.00pm and 4.00pm. A direct funeral service is also available at 9.00am. There are no restrictions on mourners' numbers. Please speak with your Funeral Director for further information and advice.
There is an hour in between each service which allows 20 minutes for the service, time for mourners to arrive before and to leave the chapel after the service, and time also for staff to prepare for the next service. If a longer service is required this may be arranged at an additional cost on request.
Attending Services
Each service at Perth Crematorium is a deeply personal experience for family and friends and we want to give everyone the time and space to pay their respects and share their memories of their loved one in their own way.
To allow guests at every service to take that time for themselves, we ask that if you are attending a service, you arrive no more than 20 minutes before the scheduled service time. We can have several services in a day and if you arrive too early you may unintentionally be encroaching on another family's time. You are also likely to find it easier to park if you arrive after the early service has already departed our car park. After the service, please leave the Crematorium promptly to avoid any delays impacting on the next service.
Thank you for your understanding and support to ensure that everyone can have the time and space they need during their moment of grief.
Facilities
Our chapel is able to seat comfortably approximately 160 people with additional standing space, speakers and visual screens within the foyer to allow larger attendances to be catered for. A family room is available for use by the immediate family of the deceased prior to the service. We also have a visual screen within our family room to accommodate those families who may not wish to sit within chapel.
There is parking for approximately 70 cars of which two are disabled parking. In addition there is 'overflow' car parking to accommodate larger services.
The Crematorium building is wheelchair-friendly with same level access: a wheelchair, disabled toilet with baby changing facilities and hearing loop are also available.
Our welcoming reception area is available for those who require any assistance or information and our private memorial room offers a comfortable space where staff can advise on all aspects of memorials, cremation and burials by appointment.
Floral tributes
Families and Funeral Directors are encouraged to remove their floral tributes after a funeral service. However, an area is provided at the Crematorium for the display of floral tributes following a funeral service, where they can remain until they are disposed of by staff 7 days after the service, or as soon as possible after Public Holidays.
Please note that unfortunately the Crematorium and its staff cannot accept any responsibility for floral tributes left at the Crematorium before, during or after a funeral service.
