Tariff 1
For Hirings between 0600 hrs and 2200 hrs excluding Sundays and specified Public Holidays set out in Tariffs 2 and 4. If the initial distance does not exceed 880 yards: for the whole distance £3.89. If the distance exceeds 880 yards: for the first 880 yards £3.89 and for each additional 110 yards or part thereof, 14 pence.
The charge for waiting time will be 26 pence per minute.
Tariff 2
For Hirings:
(a) between 2200 hrs and 0600 hrs excluding December 24, 25, 26, 31 and January 1 and 2
(b) begun on a Sunday except if Sunday falls on December 24, 25, 26, 31 and January 1 and 2
(c) begun on Good Friday and Easter Monday
(d) between 0600 hrs and 2200 hrs excluding Sundays and specified Public Holidays set out in Tariffs 3 and 5, when transporting 5 or more passengers
If the initial distance does not exceed 880 yards: for the whole distance, £4.94. If the distance exceeds 880 yards: for the first 880 yards, £4.94 and for each additional 88 yards or part thereof, 14 pence.
The charge for waiting time will be 35 pence per minute.
Tariff 3
Only for larger type vehicles when carrying five or more passengers, for Hirings:
(a) between 2200 hrs and 0600 hrs excluding December 24, 25, 26, 31 and January 1 and 2
(b) begun on a Sunday except if Sunday falls on December 24, 25, 26, 31 and January 1 and 2
(c) begun on Good Friday and Easter Monday
If the initial distance does not exceed 880 yards: for the whole distance, £5.39. If the distance exceeds 880 yards: for the first 880 yards, £5.39 and for each additional 74 yards or part thereof, 14 pence.
The charge for waiting time will be 36 pence per minute.
Tariff 4
For Hirings begun on December 24, 25, 26, 31 and January 1 and 2.
If the initial distance does not exceed 880 yards: for the whole distance, £5.85. If the distance exceeds 880 yards: for the first 880 yards, £5.85 and for each additional 74 yards or part thereof, 14 pence.
The charge for waiting time will be 37 pence per minute.
Tariff 5
Only for larger type vehicles when carrying five or more passengers.
For Hirings begun on December 24, 25, 26, 31 and January 1 and 2.
If the initial distance does not exceed 880 yards: for the whole distance £5.85. If the distance exceeds 880 yards: for the first 880 yards, £5.85 and for each additional 65 yards or part thereof, 14 pence.
The charge for waiting time will be 37 pence per minute.
Soiling charge
Maximum of £75.00 payable by an offending passenger, where a vehicle requires to be removed from service for cleaning in order for it to be restored to a usable state and condition.
Extra charges
Any bridge tolls or airport car parking charges to be met by customer (only chargeable on production of a receipt to the hirer).
Notes
(a) All fares inclusive of VAT.
(b) The driver must assist in loading and unloading without extra charge.
(c) When a taxi is called but not used, a charge shall be allowed as regards distances as if the taxi had been occupied from the time it left the stance.
