The UK Parliament represents the people of the United Kingdom and has the power to make decisions and pass laws.

Members of Parliament (MPs) are elected using a First Past the Post System (FPTP). The elections take place every 5 years and depending on where you live in Perth and Kinross, you can vote to return an MP for the Perth and North Perthshire constituency, or the Ochil and South Perthshire constituency.

The Returning Officer, Karen Reid, has the responsibility for the management of the election in the Perth and North Perthshire constituency.

The Returning Officer for the Ochil and South Perthshire constituency is the Chief Executive of Clackmannanshire Council. The count for Ochil and South Perthshire took place in Alloa and results for that constituency can be found on the Clackmannanshire Council website.
