Heritage highlights include Scone Palace, the ancestral home of the Earls of Mansfield and the crowning place of Scottish Kings and Perth Black Watch Museum and Balhousie Castle which offers an insight into one of the British Army's, if not the worlds most famous, fighting units.

The area's property market is very diverse, offering a mix of old and new and increasingly, a combination of the two is seen in imaginative conversions of old mills, steadings, churches and farm buildings, all of which can be found in and around popular towns and villages such as Blairgowrie, Crieff, Kinross, Scone, Auchterarder and Pitlochry.
