The dog control team deal with the administration and enforcement of legislation mainly relating to dogs. Dog Control Officers will respond to enquiries in connection with the education and promotion of dog related matters - in particular, dog fouling, stray dogs, out of control dogs and the welfare of dogs.
Report dog fouling
Perth & Kinross Council encourages dog owners to act responsibly and clear up after their dog. It is an offence for any person responsible for a dog, not to immediately remove and dispose of appropriately, any excrement after their dog has fouled.
Control of dogs
All dog owners have a responsibility to ensure that their dog/s are kept under proper control at all times, even in their own home and garden.
