If a member of your household is a full time student, an apprentice or youth trainee or has recently left school or college and is under 20 years of age or is 18 years or older and child benefit is still in payment you may be eligible for a discount on your council tax.
Students

If a member of your household is an apprentice or youth trainee, you may be able to get discount on your council tax bill.
Spouse, civil partner or dependant of non-British students
For Council Tax purposes, we will treat you as a student if you are non-British and you are either the spouse, civil partner or the dependant of a full time student
