The 16+ Framework for Support (PDF) [939KB] aims to improve outcomes for young people in Perth and Kinross by supporting stakeholders to plan transitions most effectively, based on best practice, through collaborative working and making better use of data. The Framework will support schools and partners to maximise the likelihood of all young people achieving a positive and sustained post school destination.
It will ensure that an enhanced consistency of approach is place across Perth and Kinross and provides increased structure to 16+ procedures and processes for all secondary schools and partners who work together to support young people.
The Framework will provide a useful reference point for all staff and partners who support young people in their transition beyond school and will also be helpful to those colleagues who are new to the 16+ area of work and as a reflective tool to those who are familiar with the 16+ landscape.
