Community Council elections and by-elections

Elections for Community Councils are held every 3 years. Between this time local residents can petition for an election to establish or re-establish a Community Council, and by-elections may be held to fill vacancies.If you care about the area you live in and want to make a difference, then get involved by standing for your local Community Council. 

Community Council elections  

  • Following the close of nominations on Thursday 29 February 2024, 8 valid nominations were received for the 8 vacancies so therefore no vote is required.  The undernoted persons are therefore duly elected to establish a community council for Stanley and District Community Council from Thursday 4 April 2024.

  • Following the close of nominations on Thursday 28 March 2024, 3 valid nominations were received for the 6 vacancies so therefore no vote is required.  The undernoted persons are therefore duly elected to Crieff  Community Council from Thursday 2 May 2024.
