Service disruptions

Perth & Kinross Council will endeavour to keep you informed of closures and disruptions to the area whether it is the closure of your child's school, how to find out about any flood warnings, planned road activities to minimise travel delays and bus service changes.

School closures 

Adverse weather conditions and other unexpected circumstances may sometimes lead to schools and other Education establishments being closed for safety reasons.

Waste and recycling

Friarton Recycling Centre is closed for the remainder of today (Sunday 19 May 2024) as a precaution due to an earlier fire at Friarton Depot.

Planned road closures

To minimise any travel delays, you can access weekly road reports to inform you of all significant planned road works where delays may exist and current road closures with advised diversion routes so you are able to avoid these trouble spots.
