Complaints about food or complaints about food businesses are investigated to ensure that food safety is not being compromised by poor operating standards or lack of an appropriate Food safety Management System in food businesses.
Food Sampling
A food sampling programme is also used to check that chemical and microbiological standards of food sold within Perth and Kinross is fit for consumption and meets all consumer protection standards.
