A licence is needed by any person who carries on street trading, to any person in a public place in or from a vehicle, kiosk or moveable stall, whether as an employee or self-employed.
Trading from a vehicle, kiosk or moveable stall which is on the valuation roll does not require a Street Trader Licence.
View guidance notes for a Street Trader Licence (PDF, 29 KB) for more information on what street trading covers and exemptions.
