Purpose
To provide information on Council teams supporting emergency services dealing with two fires in Perthshire.
Briefing Information
Emergency services have been responding to two fires in Perthshire since the early hours of this morning (Monday 29 December 2025). The fires are reported as being at West Grant, near Errol, and at Drumness Farm near Auchterarder.
Both locations are privately-owned land and the scenes are being managed by Scottish Fire and Rescue Service with support from Police Scotland.
The Council's Emergency Response Duty Officer and duty Strategic Lead are aware of the incidents, and support is being provided via the Roads Maintenance Partnership for road closures around the sites, and with the Community Support and Enforcement Team operating point around the exterior cordon of the sites.
Public information is being led by Police Scotland with Council social media channels re-sharing related posts.
