Purpose
This Briefing Note provides an update on an ongoing incident at Shore Road.
Briefing Information
Emergency services have been called to Shore Road to attend a fire.
Residents claimed to hear an explosion around 11am on Friday. Social media images show a significant fire in the area.
The location of the fire has not yet been confirmed.
The Council is aware of the incident and supporting our Multi-Agency Partners in their response.
Shore Road has been closed while emergency services attend the incident.
We will provide further updates once we have more information. We will share information about the road closure on our social media channels.
