Purpose
This Briefing Note provides an update on today's fire at Shore Road.
Briefing Information
Emergency services were called to Shore Road to attend a fire just before 11am today.
The incident occurred at a business unit on Friarton Road.
Residents nearby reported hearing an explosion before seeing flames.
No one was hurt and nearby buildings were evacuated as a precaution.
Shore Road was closed to allow emergency services to attend and a cordon was put in place while the fire was extinguished.
The cordon was lifted just before 2pm and the road re-opened.
Scottish Fire and Rescue remain on site.
